APPRECIATE GREATNESS

We have had fun in our previous topics talking about the game of basketball and the professional basketball league. Let's now take some time and appreciate greatness. The lovers of the game already know the person in the picture above but let's introduce him for the sake of the beginners in the game.
The player above is considered as one of the best basketball players of all time, he has been considered as the best current basketball player since the year 2011. He has won many individual awards both back in college and then in the league.
 His name is Lebron Raymone James fondly called 'The King'  born on december 30, 1984 which puts his age at thirty-three(33). He was born in Akron, Ohio in the United States of America to a sixteen(16) year old single mom who raised him on her own.
Lebron had a real tough childhood moving from apartments to apartments and so his mother did what was best for him to have a stable life by letting him stay with a football coach. He was later introduced into the game of basketball at the age of nine(9) by the football coach and from then till now, he has kept and is still dominating the game.
James was then introduced into the league in the year 2003 and he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is current playing for the same team that drafted him although in the year 2010, he moved to another team, the Miami Heat where he won two championships back to back in the year 2012 and 2013. In 2014, James chose to leave the Miami Heat and come back to his roots, the team that drafted him to try and win a championship for the team. James came home and won a championship for the team in 2016 which put an end to the city's wait for a professional title in fifty two(52) years.
Inorder to appreciate this great player better, let's have a look at some of his individual awards as well as his career highlights.

• SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SPORTSPERSON OF THE YEAR (2012,2016)

In addition to the above titles, there are many others.
Personally I am a fan of Lebron James and i try to emulate him when i play because this man is just fantastic and magnificient. His understanding of the game is just excellent. Some basketball coaches have even said that it's like, he reads the opponent play even before they make it. For the lovers of the game, i believe you have watched him play and its undisputable how awesome he is on the court.
James is married to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson and they have three kids together.
James is also considered among the most influencial people in the world.
The important thing worth pointing out here is that all this didn't just fall into James laps, he sure worked his ass out and he deserves all he has today. As earlier stated, he really had a rough childhood and now, he is considered 'The King'.
