SPORTS AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES

I believe we have been having fun talking about the game of basketball and now, let's have a general look into Sports and Sporting activities.
What is Sports? Sports is any activity which uses physical exertion or skills competitively under a set of rules. It includes all forms of competitive physical activity or games which involves the use of physical ability and skills. It tends to provide enjoyment for it's participants and most times, entertainment for the spectators. There are hundreds of sporting events either competing in teams or individual. The largest sporting major competition is the Olympics games.
Now we have all that out of the way, let's now have a simple conversation. As a kid, i have always loved sports but didn't engage in any, i only watched from the side. The only sports i engaged in was running, i did that with my brothers and i mostly lost because they kept cheating, lol. As i got older, i participated in my school competition where i won almost always because i had gotten better. This gave me a good feeling and elevated my confidence. Later on in secondary school, i started loving basketball but never got the chance to play. After school, before i got into college, i now acted on my love for basketball and started playing and now i can say that i am a good basketball player and a real good racer amongst other things.
On the other hand, i know a lot of people watch sports but don't engage in it and i am not saying that's a bad thing, i am only saying that engaging in sports will do you a lot of favors without any negative side to it. The only negative side i can think of is just the fatigue that comes after which really isn't at all negative, lol.
Let's look at some of the sporting activities available:

Let me reveal to you some of the benefits of sports, they include:

  • Longer life: This is possible because sporting activities makes the body healthy.
  • Better circulation of blood: The heart tends to function faster during sports and so, blood is circulated efficiently through the body.
